Given the current state of the server due to the holiday season and the emergence of other games, there are about as many rumors flying around Norrath as there are letters from hopeful little boys and girls flying to the North Pole right now. I thought I would take this posting to show everyone exactly where we stand, and show what a great place ES is to be right now.

ES, like virtually every other guild in Everquest took some hard hits in November, the difference is while some guilds are reeling around like a punch drunk boxer and others have gone down for the 10 count, ES is adapting, reacting and taking the steps necessary to ensure our continued success. In the last week we've been doing epic raids, partnering up with our friends in Acropolis and KoDF on a number of successful raids to backflag members of all three guilds and working with Through The Never to keep the loot flowing in from Time. If there is any question at all of how ES is doing right now, could I possibly provide a better answer than this ? With the help of the quality players from TTN, Quarm died Saturday night on our first attempt at joint raiding in Time.

No bed of roses is complete without a few thorns and we have gone thorough alot of changes, one of the saddest is that Belquillon has stepped down as ES guild leader. ES did great and wonderful things under his leadership, progressing much further in to the game than most of us ever thought possible for a casual guild, he has more than earned our enduring thanks and respect.

On that note, ES would like to express our thanks to Sonami for stepping so smoothly in to leadership and starting us in to a new era, our recent successes both on our own and in partnership with our friends holds wonderful promise for our future under her leadership.
