Lordy if it were that easy I'd be 60 already. Granted I'm 41 atm and leveling is slowing down... but I cant see being 60 all that fast.

Also I fully plan to create MANY new alts. There is just so much going on in the world and that doesnt even take into account the Horde side which I also want to experience.
I said Blizzard would not be able to keep up with the players and it is coming true. That's all I was saying :) I hope for their sake they do something quick because an increasingly larger percentage of their player base is hitting 60 and getting bored. I could easily quote 50 posts of people complaining about lack of content from a casual to a hardcore player perspective.../shrug.
Oh nos!!

Lets stop the speculation and look at some facts: http://www.wowcensus.com/overall_stats.php

Hmmm doesnt seem like WoW is very top heavy to me. Its far from a picture painted of 90% of the population sitting around being bored.
P.S. - WTF is a fanboi anyway? I keep hearing (reading) that and am not quite sure exactly what it means.
Its someone who is a fan of the game to such an extent they ignore any problems and issues of that game while repeately bashing any competition of their game. They go out of their way to dig up information to bash other games while they champion their own

-------------------------------------------------

Want to hear something fun? Last night 100 people from my guild (note we have over 500 people in my guild, on 1 server... no thats not a typo) went over to the brand new pvp server bliz put up last night, created new toons and raided the horde newbie areas. 100 level 6-8 alliance guildies batteling it out with all the other 6-8 horde toons... it was totally hilarious and fun.

I wish I could be more concerned with the L60 end game but I'm not, it will get resolved by the time I'm 60... new raids, Battle Fields, heck could be an expansion by then... but right now Quay I could care less. I need to get to the bottom of the Bloodsail Buccaneers, recover the Orb from Uldamen, earn another 30 gold so I can get my mount, kill the giant Ape in stv, reach the Cathedral in the Scarlet Monestary, discover what happened to the spy in Desolace, recover the captains chest... PLUS on top of all of that, the crazy fun things my guild thinks up for us to do. Oh yeah... and all of that goes on hold when the Horde attacks any of our citys... cuz killing horde is uber fun.

When I first started playing WoW I thought it was 2 or 3 times as fun as EQ was... now being level 41 and having experienced more of the game, I'd say its now 5-10 times as fun as EQ was. EQ is like an old black and white John Wayne movie... WoW is like Die Hard 4.

Best part of Dan's analogy is that both movies kick ass, just in their own style ^^

I admit. I'm still lovin' WoW. Rilian and I restarted a Priest/Warrior team and it rocks.

Level 30 was fairly quick to get, but now it's slowed down a ton (just like the last toons). Hopefully will have level 41 on both our new toons soon.

As for end game content, there is a ton of it. We raid every night, PvP when we want and generally have a heck of a good time. Sure there are bugs, that I won't deny. But definately fewer than I've seen outta EQ.

I'm very satisfied with the game and the customer service makes Sony look like a bunch of pikers. I actually get ANSWERS! REAL ONES! And help when I need it!

Amazing...I know.

i hit level 54 over the weekend.. the game is still very much fun. seems the higher i get the more fun i have. the PVP is getting funnier ( cause i dont die as often now ) I am a priest teamed with a warrior, and when he is not on i mesh well with pretty much any other tank class and we duo well together.

I dont miss EQ at all.. what i miss are the people. I miss the ES people and i miss my friends, i dont miss the game at all. I hope when i hit 60 i am still enjoying the game as much as i do now.. but i have a alt rogue i am ready to level if i get bored on the priest.

Been there...done that :) ...twice.

Glad you guys are having fun....sincerely, I am. I am still sceptical of Blizzard's staying power though...only time will tell for sure.

48 here.

Spent the last few levels farming mobs for gold and xp which slowed me down but I do have enough gold to last quite a while now, enough to probably buy all my spells until the mid 50's... and that after buying myself alot of blue upgrades.

Up to level 53 warrior for me..

Level 53 Priest for Rilian.

Here's the kicker...Rilian named her priest after my EQ cleric. Annoyed me she took the name Faythe.

My warrior is called Eillistraee if any of you are ever around Garona. We got into the number 1 guild on the server (Lunaris), so we're both really thrilled. They are already doing Molten Core and Onyxia. Now all we need is level 60 to be able to join 'em!

I've been 60 for a while. We've done all of BRD now, and we're starting to work on the BRS quests. I've done a couple of outdoor raids, the Blightcaller raid and the Battle of Darrowshire. Both are pretty fun.

We've done a few BRD raids and one in BRS so far. More people are starting to hit 60, so we'll be doing more raiding and instance runs in the future, I think.

My primary obsession right now is farming elemental essences so I can make my Robe of the Archmage. I've got most of it done now, just finishing up the Essence of Earth, and I'm waiting for the patch to land so I can farm Essence of Air.

hahaha, im level 60 with 20g, hardly enough to get the epic mount. one day it will be mine, oh yes.. one day! my level 60 spells cost me about 30g was very depressing, LOL. I do have my level 40 mount with mithril spurs on my feet and my carrot on a stick, im a hell of a lot faster then walking :D
