Retired Members

The officers are implementing a retired status for members who no longer play or have been inactive for 3 months. While the input of our retired members is valued, the current membership decisions and loot policy are to be left to those actively working to progress the guild. Access will be restricted to the Application Review and DKP Discussion and Status forums. You will need to be an active member to participate in discussions in those forums.

This restriction is not being made to alienate our retired members, but to allow those who will be directly impacted by the decisions made therein to have the most input on those decisions.

Additionally, this is not being done as a reaction to any recent discussions in any of the forums, but rather with foresight of the number of retired members we will have after the release of EQ2 and WoW. Again, your input is valued in general guild discussions, but you need to be directly involved in guild progression to have a say in who we accept as new members or how loot is distributed.

Also, to codify the 'keeping in touch' rule, retired members who do not have any contact with the guild for 3 months will be removed from the member list and have forum access suspended.
