That didn't help at all. It's like his pc thinks eq servers are down. We rebooted modem, router, flushed dns, ipconfig /reset and /renew, changed default dns servers, whitelisted eq and patcher in Avast anti-virus, uninstalled Avast, whitelisted eq and patcher in Windows Defender, run as admin, run in compatability modes, downloaded a good copy to check for windows errors and ran system file checker, tried installing a fresh copy of eq into a new folder, and so many other things. absolutely no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
I am thinking it's time for a fresh windows install.
