I wouldn't pay $950 for a pc with a 1st gen ryzen. You will get a much better gaming experience from a 6-core 3rd gen than an 8-core 1st gen.

The similar one I posted a link to earlier is an Intel cpu. They're not terrible, but do consume a lot of power and throw off a lot of heat compared to ryzen. I think you would be better served with this one:

EDIT:

Don't buy this. Only 1 stick of ram. I don't understand how they even sell "gaming" computers with single-channel memory....

Ryzen 5 3600

5 = mid tier (6-core) part

3 = generarion

600 = relative speed (faster than a ryzen 5 3400)

looks good but I'm not sure what mini means, is that a smaller case? You are getting 8core which is good, but its the lowest end 8core? I would probably try and find a higher end 8core if I was going that route, but it would still play/box eq just fine. Still not a bad price I think? Not sure why the comment about the other sky tech..put it in your cart and buy it on newegg?

I would choose the microcenter g507 I posted earlier you get an 8gig gpu for the same price.

Those machines with the Nvidia 2060 were a good deal. Not surprised if they are sold out.

I still think this is the next best option.

$800 for the same CPU, RAM, SSD as the $1K machine but has an older AMD 580 GPU.

The GPU is faster than the NVidia 1650's.

Ryzen 3, 5, 7, 1000 first gen ( 1200 , 1400 , 1700 , ect , ect , )
Ryzen 3, 5, 7, 2000 second gen ( 2300 , 2600 , 2700 , ect ....)
Ryzen 3, 5, 7, 9 3000 3rd gen ( 3100 , 3500 , 3600 , 3700, ect ...)
most of the time you can look at the first number of the series to tell witch gen it is .... thou there are a cuple Gen 2 that start with 1 like the 1200af its a direct refresh of the gen 1 1200 with some minor upgrades.

This looks good too:

$1000
CPU: AMD 3600
GPU: AMD 5700 -- similar to 2060 in performance
RAM: 16 GB
SSD: 512

Hits all the check marks and should be a very nice machine for a lot time.

I'm all for that g507. You really cant beat microcenter deals, they build their own, and you get very little bloatware. I listed the G507 as an good option earlier.
