something simple and cheap? How does one tell? Nothing powers up. It's just dead in the water.

sounds like a power supply problem, they cost about 50$ for good one

I had a simaler problem which turn out the power buttin had gotten stuck

It might be as easy as the switch on the power supply itself got bumped off.

Have you or anyone else been around the machine? Behind the machine? Has the machine been opened up ?

It was the power supply. He updated his graphics card too. Yeah Wizard!

It probably just needs more pig's blood. All pcs made since the early 2000's require blood of some kind every 1000 miles.
