I'm just glad your safe. Hitting anything at 60 mph is not going to result in anything good, more so with a freaking tire. Time to call your insurance =/

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

Both force and object have its origins from the same source.
Everything from the source into the universe is in constant motion, from the seen to the unseen.

An unstoppable force has no walls, no limits to restrain it, and is completely free to make anything happen.

Then the immovable object is a lie to uncover, to discover the truth..THERE IS NO SPOON ;)

Consider yourself lucky that thing hit the quarter panel and not the windshield...

But a few things to worry about.

1. How does your washing fluid rupture when the hit was on the quarter panel.
2. No Airbag deployment, I would definetly get that checked out.

It wasn't hit in the quarter panel, it was hit head-on; I vaulted the car about 4ft into the air.

No airbag deployment is a bit of concern.

I once lost a 6 foot wooden stepladder, it must have flown out the back of the truck going down the freeway. Once I got home and saw it was gone I immediately went back to look for it. It was literally in a million pieces. Toothpicks mostly, shattered and spread out over about 100 yards. I stayed there a while wondering if someone had gotten hurt or hurt their car due to my negligence. No one came back and there wasnt enough left of it to worry about cleaning up. Needless to say I felt horrible and to this day everything in the back of the truck is tied down. Even things you wouldnt think would blow out, like a heavy wooden ladder, get tied down.
