K. I was debating Elf or Hobbit. I will pick Elf.
Still downloading, says 5 more hours! Also reading lotro msg boards and a lot of people are reporting 'server full' and 'server down' messages. SoE going down may be the best thing to happen to LOTRO...

LoTRO finally downloaded overnight, and I set it up today, but ran into that Directx10 problem, went back to 9 and got in. I made an Elf Minstrel named Xipley. Got to lvl 2, did the trainer thing and got a spell that I was supposed to use on a Trainer dummy, but it kept telling me I could not use that spell at that time...
Got frustrated and logged, will research what i am doing wrong and try again later.

WooT cool I also have lifetime subscription to LotRO, I started on Brandywine but i quit that game cuz lack of skills but I'm sure i can figure it out pretty easy now since I've played many MMO's today (LotRO was my first MMO FTW) so gonna make a char on Vilya see how I like it then will send ya a tell to Wanadan or Opus

Lorai, Wanadan and I played earlier today on Vilya was hella fun Wanadan PLed me and Lorai (Xipley) with his Hunter
but Never as fun as I personally had with you all on EQ tho hehe
