I use a gtx 285 and at times when I go in to the guild lobby or hall people will be all black or about ten seconds before the image loads up, not quite the same issue you haver though.

I thought that's how ranger screens always looked, black in white flashback in their memories before drifting off to the light..otw to their bind locations....

Yea.. gtx 460 here and I had that early on.. not so much anymore. Sometimes I would have nude toons too.. cute post somewhere here about it where I accused Noir of Nvidia selling x-rated vid cards ;p

Prior to this my vid card was "that other brand" (which shall remain nameless cause I have much <3 for Noir), but I've never seen my screen go B&W with either card.

That is a really awesome effect. I've never seen it.

I know there's a bug in EQ which causes graphics to be messed up if you crash or LD then don't quit all the way out, but just load your character back up. I don't know if it looks like that though.

Has it only happened that one time? I would think quitting EQ and re-starting should fix it in any case.

i had camped in and out but only to char select and so far only in miragul's nightmare. we spent a few hours doing tasks, as tasks got done some colors started to return...was wondering wtf is up with quests unlocking colors in eq!?

i get glitches everyday. either walls are all white, no ground. characters are black, cant see items, cant see buff names/timers. cant see names. cant see certain windows.

Alt-O remove bloom lighting and the other new graphic option. That is part of the zone design. Like a "void" of sorts. As you progress color comes back.
