I'm so confused. You just beat on the thing for 30 minutes and it dies? How boring can you get? Also, how did I sit through the whole thing =(

Sounds like Everquest raiding to me, if you want to look at it like that.

thats what i was thinking, but its raiding with other people, not just the voices in my head.

You do fight with other people, in network mode.
This single player stuff gets you acclimated to the game. Prepared if you will to contribute in online fights. Which are much more difficult. Your able to kill enough to accumulate decent gear instead of the starting set your given.
It also has a bit of a story to it.

That Ceadeus you fight was a threat to your village you discover later in the game.
It was causing a lot of earthquakes headbutting the walls in the tunnel.
(Which were in some old ruins in the water under the village.)

When your village gives up and is about to evacuate you decide to go out and fight it against guild orders in order to scare it away.

I guess I was just trying to see if anyone who had a Wii might be interested in this at all... I think it's fun anyway. Been playing it's different iterations for years. /shrug

I have never seen the game, looks fun. Of course after the first 1 minute of the first video, all i could hear in my mind was "Release the Kraken!" Almosts make we wish i still had a wii, almost....
