Ok, I know I've been drinking today but it's not that I swear!
I was running to raid and the my screen started flickering and I got a window saying my graphic drivers stopped responding but recovered but every time I try to load up EQ it keeps doing it. I then went and downloaded the latest drivers and still doing it. I tried rebooting, still doing it. It's a brand new PC, with even newer graphic card (installed it after I got PC). I've had no problems the past couple weeks I've had it, even multi boxing up to 4 toons in some zones like FoS where I had horrible lag 2boxing before on old PC.
Not sure wtf is going on, I have directX9 obviously since I have been playing for weeks. And now I have the latest (1-19-10) drivers installed. Any idea's?

new means nothing. i worked in the computer hardware world for 5 years it was not that odd to have a tech go out install a "new" part and have it not work, or work but die a few week/months later.Twinkeltoes wrote:my card and PS are brand new Hope it's not a bad card /sigh I need to check the warrenty etc now grrr.
i know zero about Windows 7 and how much memory the thing hogs or how much memeory your card requires and how much of that is built in or how much is being pulled from your RAM.
i would suggest taking it back to the store and telling them of your issues, showing them the issue if you can get it to do it. and seeing what kind of warrenty you have maybe exchange the PC for a new one or getting a replacment card. only other thing i can think of is your monitor is on its last leg; was that new too????
i might not buy brand named items in some areas but when it comes to PC parts i am VERY picky about who makes my memeory, motherboards, hard drives, and graphics cards!
this is the 4th person that said they got a brand new PC and having issues with EQ, i am starting to see a pattern!
