Still pondering names.... all I really can ID with is one of them hisses at me. Thinks it's fun or something.
They woke me up today hanging on the cage door chirping that they wanted to get out of the cage.
Haha... definately hand tamed.. don't like to be separated, they start making a lot of noise!

Uh...I still don't know if they are girls or boys..

2 down 1 to go.... African Grey next. Can't wait for that one.

Aww.. they're adorable!

I think before you name them, you might want to find out gender information though. =)

The one that goes around humping arms of couches and stuff is a boy, at least that's what my dads bird does...

Wife has had multiples of those. She says you can feel a bone between the legs and the coloring on the beaks. The darker colored beaks by the holes means a female usually if she recalls correctly. Males are typically larger in size of the head also. Of course, the best and most accurate way is to find a bird expert and have them sexed.

Heard and read the best way was DNA test... That what you mean? Heard it wasn't overly expensive just something for another day.

Can do the DNA thing with a bit of a feather to find out for sure. That's how we know our blue crown is a boy. With our mitred, "Pedro" we had no idea until he layed a clutch of eggs after we had her for 12 years. I am pretty sure they don't even know. Pedro humped her own tail feathers lol and anything else, and she was a girl.

Love your power twins. SOOO CUTE

Used to have a bird and I thought I recalled something along the lines of if you want them to speak, you shouldn't teach them to whistle. After they can speak, then it is ok. Or something like that.
