BAsic thing to do before invite also is build up a bit follow the quest things to get free resources etc. and anythign under 5 min is a free speed up. Also do not go over town hall 5 till free week is over upgrade everythign else and build armies upgrade buildings etc. Need an embassy for an invite also which can be made early on and once in alliance others can send you resources etc.
