My Cat

My cat, Samantha, died this morning after being hit by a car, or suffering a heart attack, we are not sure which.

I adopted her 5 years ago from a charity that rescues abused and abandoned cats in Connecticut, and while she was always afraid of people, including me, she was still the most wonderful cat ever. She was super curious and let her curiousity win out over her fear a lot of the time, which was really neat to see. She recently started going outside, which she loved. She would even come up to us and cry until we let her out. We buried her with her favorite catnip candybar (you can see it in the basket in the picture) and some treats.

Anyway, this is my cat, and I will miss her.

I lost a cat too His name was Bubba - which is who I named my character after
Raised him from a Kitten till he died of a heart attack at age 20

I know exactly how sad you feel

Well thats the price you pay for having them to enjoy while they are here and considering how life would have been without him its a price I would gladly pay again

Wish i could give you oen of mine we have a 3 monthish old whiteish kitty with black tufted ears and bright blue eyes would love a good home... we have 15 kitties at the farm 5 new ones rest r older

miss my doggy the most he passed aaway a year ago, we havnt got a new one yet. Pets r oen of the best things a person can ever have.

Cats are awesome. It's great that you rescued her, and I'm sure she'll remember you in whatever kitty afterlife there may be.

Wish animals/pets lived a LOT longer. Sorry to hear she was very pretty. Take solace in the fact that you did the best you could for her in the time you were allotted together, that's really all we can do for the animals we choose to bring into our lives or the ones that choose us ))

oh Kyreth .. so sorry to read about your cat..

I can so relate ..

... I couldn't bear the thought of a different kitty replacing the one who lived with me for 16 years .. but eventually some kittens in the neighborhood were seeking new homes and I now have 2 of them.. It took a while, though, but they do live on in our memories ..

My kitty thoughts are with you
