Yes, I have traveled the lands and have looked high and low for something to sedate my taste for adventure, community, fun, excitement, memories, exploration and all things that make you giggle...I have returned to you now in rags and shoddy shoes to let you know there is nothing out there that gives all those things!

Ever hear the expression, grass is never greener?

well, I have finally proven to myself this is very much true...in all the games and all the communities I became part of or tried to, I could not find what I had already had in Ever Quest....and in Eternal Sovereign. It’s taken me 3 yrs to find this out and after many broken promises from many design and development companies I find myself looking back to EQ and with a great big sigh, and a small bag of regret for the time I wasted in this fruitless search. I am coming back to my roots and with all the determination and commitment I have been trying to give freely to other games and guilds...I bring it back to EQ.

I have 4 hours of downloads to finish, so I will be awhile yet getting online, but once I do, I have a decision to make. Tudana is completely naked atm, at least that’s what EQplayers shows her to be, so I can either bring her back to gear specs or play another class (newb level up). I do not know how gear is to acquire now, but I will do what I need to in order to gather it up again. Or I will start a monk to level up and begin afresh.

I`m ready to play folks and Im ready to raid, (well once I get some gear) its been far to long since i have had the feelings of accomplishment I used to gain in EQ back in my days, I hope this hasnt changed, I do long for it.

Tudana, I have some plate gear.

Not sure if you are truly stripped but from my understanding you have gears.

I have some gears that should be "filler" til we get something real for you.

You should buy just the new expansion (SoD) since it bundles all previous ones for one price. Depending on how old your current expansion set is you might not be able to level up until the new expansion goes live. I've heard tales of the expansions not counting yet, i.e. waiting for next Tuesday.

Still, I'd not think you would want to spend extra money one expansions for 1 week's worth of time.

well, i have considered waiting to really get started until I can get my hands on that expansion.

I am installing what i can now, without purchasing anything new..I have Omens of war expansion, and thats the last one i think. It is capped at 70 i do believe. So not worring about leveling until Oct 21. But I still need to get online and start swinging something to get my groove going again.

be it at 70 or 80..either way i do have to start somewhere

It seems I have gear - Thalsa must have my EQ Player anon or something, it showed me nakid, but when i logged in, i had gear and a few other items in bags, so im all good.

I am lv 75 now, Melaysa (My GF) is lv 64 cleric, what is the level range to group now in EQ? my main focus for now will be to get her leveled up to my level until expansion comes out. Also, where should I take her to level up? EXP grind mainly?

I went traveling around mostly last night, made my way to the maze in order to get to teh riftseekers area...of cause my invis failed and I died...fazon helped me retrieve the corpse (its been a long time so i had no idea how thsi works now)

I hope you all can share patience with us as we get back into the swing of things and how things work..and its been near 4 yrs since i left (Nov 2004) so alot of elarning on my part coming up

tudana if you get/have any of the newer expansions would suggest dsh/LP or even the new oceangreen areas their pretty suitable for your lvl at 75.

I can help ya on earrings rings face and neck (all 6 slots - jewelcraft) that will become:
35 AC
400 HP
250 mana/end
25 to four stats
25 to all saves

Also lvl 64 is fine to group with 80s (or even 85s) ... and I have much use for a lvl 64 CLR, even an AFK 64 CLR while I get her levels
