People still play EQ?

Blast from the past! I couldn't find any active server forums for Tholuxe Paells (now Bertox), but I did come across a list of ES folks, and saw Nizzi and a few other names I recognized still going strong.

I haven't played since like 2005, my primary was Mezitt and my alt was Rezitt. I quit around PoP/GoD, and did play for a couple weeks when sony was having some "come back free play" promotion, but don't remember anything of the experience, other than pickup groups on the wall in some Dreadlands 2.0.

I see there are THIRTEEN expansion now. Holy shit. So, what's the game like? Has the player base dropped further since the big server merger? I think my toons were 65; when did they make the cap 80? Are clerics still uber? And enchanters still charm nerfed to lameness? Is it still a treadmill?
