ok...i have found a way i am able to play until i can get my HD problem fixed...that wont happen until i get my paycheck and idk when i will lol...soon i know....but i installed eq and it said my drivers werent up to date...i updated them and it still said i needed to get 6575 drivers....im using my dads laptop...its a gateway with a 9600/9700 ati(PoS i know)...it can run it easly but it errors out when that driver message comes up....where in the hell do i get them or wtf do i do....next time i boot it up ill SS it and post it

I had a similar problem a few years ago with a laptop that had a mobile version of an nvidia card. I found that you really have to use the latest driver supplied by the laptop mfg and not the driver from nvidia (or ATI in your case) I was forunate enough to have a common laptop that a third party had developed an updated video driver after the mfg stopped supporting the laptop. You may find something for ATI if you look hard enough.

Update directx (if needed)
Uninstall any current drivers
Install latest drivers from Gateway

If that doesn't work... buy a hard drive quick!
