Hello all!

I'm happy to see ES still around and thriving. I see alot of names of friends from days of old still active. How ya all been doing? I'm sad to know TP is gone forever, how's life on Bertox?

1500+ aa some of you have? /faint ... thats insane! Sounds like the game has changed dramatically since I retired. I miss the good days, they were most excellent. Anyway wanted to stop in and give a big rousing "HI" to all my old friends here.

Bertox is like another country. You know those weirdos say "ping" when they DING an AA? What's up with that? :p

Actually if I read it correctly. That's how how folks in EQ2 say ding. they "ping".

sound like we're getting some peep from EQ2 over into EQ1 hehe.

Well I've kicked around the thought but I'm just too nostalgic, I hate the thought of it being Bertox and not TP, the loss of other great friends. I enjoy conversing with those on my WoW server so I havent been totally out of touch.

Getting bored with wow though... L60 Mage, L60 Druid, L60 Warlock, L60 Rogue... currently playing with a Hunter whos at 43 now. I never raid, I never want to go down that path again and that excludes me from a EQ come back I guess... besides, I hear they revamped ToFS

Its become an insanely bad joke in such a short span of time. Property prices increased 250% in about a year, I'll never afford a few acre piece like I wanted. Get this, in my home town prices are now at $375k per HALF ACRE. Guess I should be glad I bought a small house when i did, could never afford it now. Ludicrous! You cant imagine the traffic either. A 12 mile freeway commute is now around 40 minutes... in UT county!

I'm sick of my job, sick of the games industry, sick of traffic and max density housing ... basically at that "mid-life crisis" point and trying to figure out what I want to do with the next half of my life. I've been researching property in remote places like Sheridan WY etc etc. I'd love to buy min 40 acres and begin enjoying life again. I need to find something to sell on ebay, I could live anywhere and work from home

Anyway enough about that.

Ah well, Good to hear from you guys, we had some hella fun times. I'm not even sure where Dan is parked at. Maybe if Sony gives a free period of time I'll come back online for a visit or somethin. I shudder to think how far behind I am in content, expecially with regard to keys and whatnot.

Man how are you doing? I think I've known you longer than anyone else in EQ. I sometimes wonder whatever happened to Skystorm and Willsapper, really nice people.

Anyway just wanted to pop-in and give a big "hi" to everyone. Its amazing to see you sticking with it and progressing so far. Fairly amazed EQ is still around too LOL.

Hey is Emptysoul still around or he retire yet?

Yes emptysoul is still around.

we still raid but it's a smaller raid force we have now but we still get things. Most fight has no raid cap like we had in GoD but anyhow, you ain't that far behind anyway. we're done with god and just about done with CoA in oow. so you probably don't have to get those keys/flags. All we do now is dodh/PoR stuff mostly and not really that complicated. just complete roughly 6-9 group mission per and that's that.

It's been awhile...glad to hear from you...was actually just thinking about what you were up to. Ya I am still with EQ and ES...and ya...I'm one of those guys in the 1500 AA club. I have a kiddo now, a little girl. She is great but it took a little bite out of my EQ playing time. Thats ok though, I would not trade her for anything.

If you get board one day log on and well kill stuff...I know your account is still active =)
