Interesting YouTube video about the addictive qualities of Everquest. One lady even blamed Everquest for her son's suicide.

Though I have to admit EQ can be consuming I dont think it in itself is addicting -rather the escape from a reality that may not be so pleasant is the draw or "addiction". Both of those stories tend to lend themselves to that theory.

I'm addicted to Everquest, work, sex, cafeine, chocolate, good coffee, apple wine, music, attention, sleep, television, chicken, pizza, biting my nails, exercise, not necessarily in that order. I wish I could have all of these things at the same time without it being weird. I feel a little scattered doctor, but if I killed myself I couldn't have any of them. Good thing I have an addictive personality.

I'm addicted to good raids, alcohol, sex, um....not much else after that. Maybe cocaine? Fuck if I know.

I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to EQ. My dad was addicted to alcohol and died of kidney failure, so it could be worse. :p

here's where they are now days, seems pretty casual raid to me.

"demands an answer from sony online entertainment as to why they created a game so powerful..." hahaha oh man. A GAME SO STRONG IT DESTROYED THE WORLD! God I hate the media. I was so addicted to watching that documentary that I'm going to get 6 hours of sleep before I have to go to class. (:V)
