hehe, interesting that i mention this. if any of you remember gauld, he got a chance to try vanguard beta. i did as well, and to be quite honest, u need a high end pc to run it. and i didn't get the feel that made me fall in love with everquest (which i now have found myself playing again so if u get a message from foty, its me ^_^)

but take your pick. i've heard about how good sigil is and ylyrra is right to try the game. i would recommend it just because its really beautiful, i just didn't like it that much imho
Day is neverending,

I always try to stay away from beta now cause of that Foty. Basicly playing an unfinished game can ruin that special something you woulda gotten if it was complete. Especially considering the beta stage vanguard is atm and that they still havent populated a server; playing a group oriented game when theres 100-200 ppl online serverwide cant really be fun. One thing for sure, i aint gonna go crazy on it till retail; did that in wow beta and it totally ruined it come retail(altough the game really was lacking anyhow)
Valkyri Malkier.
2 INC! err.. 3. make that 4, screw this TRAIN INC!!!
I train stuff

I've been in beta since beta 1. The game has changed alot in the time I've been in it. I don't play every day but anyone that is in beta knows this game is still a long ways from release.

I have faith that this game will be awesome when it hits the shelves. As for the graphics quality, I have a pretty fancy system (including an SLI setup) and I still have to turn the graphics way down to get rid of video lag. There are also alot of immersion factors that haven't been added to the game yet. Information on game play/controls/etc is limited to the beta forums and since the UI changes frequently, learning how things work can take time.

Expect a steep learning curve. You won't get babied like alot of today's newer games! It might not be as intimidating to the newbie as EQ was when it released, but it will definitely be more of a learning experience!

I spent hours tonight poking around SoH beta forums, made me very interested. we'll see what happens, I may poke a furry claw in and say hullo... I like the feline and canine race choices. that could we'll be very cool =) I also spend a good deal of time over at safhouse reading up on rogues, seems pretty cool, I sorta fell in love with the class in WoW (Go Orcs!). PS: I'm outta WoW now too. account canceled.
