Error

ok im having an issue trying to get the patcher to run on my PC my internet is working fine. so its not my isp is any one else having this usse or can any one help me fix this issue ?

What is the error message it gives?

is the small box that say connection failure. and says could not
establish a connection pls check your network connection or contact eqtech@soe.sony.com

I get that every now and then. It usually fixes itself in a few minutes... if you're still getting it...hmm... check your eqhost.txt file in the eq directory, it should be

Code: Select all

[LoginServer]
Host=eqlplogin1.everquest.com:15900

Also, if you're fully patched (last patch was awhile ago) try running eqgame directly with

Code: Select all

eqgame.exe patchme

to see if you can connect to the servers...

Also if you're using a router you may want to forward port 15900, but I don't think this should really make a difference.... other than that, I really dunno.

well i got the stupid thing fixed. im just having to redownload all of EQ i have 30 mins left and ill ba back and running. i sill stand by FUSONY has my surname
