Condolences & Reflections for Sonami

I don't really know what to say. I have been staring at the screen for the past 30minutes trying to put it into words. I know we fought alot but it really does hurt to hear the news. My prayers go out to his friends and family. I keep wishing it turns out to be a hoax so we can just go on hating each other. I guess you really just don't realize how much someone means to you until they are gone.

Thank you belq for hunting us down on hyjal and delivering the news and to the rest of my ES Family i miss you all.

I havent spoken to him in years, but it was pretty shocking to hear none the less.

...i havent been on in quite a while with our new baby, and i didnt know Sonami very well, but we were guilded together for some time and did group and couldnt help the tears...our thoughts and prayers are with you Matt and your family

I have sat thinking about this before i decided to make a post because no words that would come to my mind were sufficient to describe a loss such as this. It would strike most people odd to hear of grown people crying at the loss of someone whom they never even met. I tried to fight back my emotions for awhile but finally I couldnt any longer and had to release them. I sat crying at my computer talking to a friend of mine who was doing the same thing as me after learning of the loss of not only one of the greatest players to ever log onto this game but the loss of a truly great person. Sonami ( matt) put every member of his guild before himself, a truly noble sacrifice. I count it as my true privilege having been allowed to be guilded with and come to know Sonami. My most heart felt sympathy goes to everyone who knew him in RL and to every member of ES past and present who were guided by the light of him.

I finally managed to get my head out wow for a few moments to check my email , saw some pms's from my old family , and came to site to see how you all had been doing

I often think about you all and how much i miss you all as individuals and our teamwork , but i do not miss the game EQ itself.

Sonami was often one of the people I still think about , how strong and intelligent he was , his complete and total mastery of the Ench class and Tskils , so much devotion and emotion to ES.

Sonami was a shining star in the night during our Darkest of times , and a true revolutionary for our progression. Dare I say, ES would not be were it is today because of the sacrifices made by him to keep us toghter and progressing.

I sit here and write this though smiles of great memories and tears of sadness at this terrible loss.

My love and prayers go out to Sonamis Family everyone who Sonami has touched and helped.

I have so many memories of him so many adventures. I feel honored.

I will never forget you Sonami.

Words fail to express the sorrow for your loss. My deepest sympathies go out to you.

As an enchanter I had a special eye on Sonami. It has long been a personal challenge to keep up with Sonami on EQ Rankings. I loved the competition. I shall really miss it.

If any ES member needs anything please don't hesitate to send me a tell. I'm sure most of CV feel the same way.
