well im hoping to top out at 140 150 in a jeep cherokee off roding on long straghaways but thats like saying im gonna make a million bucks in 1 hour siting on amy bum doing nothing

but in reality i can handle its allredy top speeds of 120 130 my gholes are to have full independent suspencion roll cage engion worked and tuned out the bumm

thinking about switching it over from auto to manual put in lockers so i can chose constant 4 wheelin down to only 1 tire movin

in other words i got a lot of ideas not enough cash but plenty of time most likley wont happin till after i get back from deployment

o and saz any time i mean any you need pulled out of the ditch after a race or just pure fun hot roding or eavin a tow home give me a call ill do it just for the smile on my face
BUT GL man i hope you get as much enjotment from working on your car as much as i do my 1996 jeep cherokee BIG 4.0 high out put sport

Well, I painted my bedroom, bath and kitchen...:)

Seriously, that car is going to be sooooo cool when you are done. I like the llittle addition to the backend...cute scoop. As far as all the other engine jargon, I have no idea what you are talking about, but sounds impressive..heheh.

I will just be looking forward to more pics...and the final one of you and your cute GF sitting in it...:)

Sweet stuff! Glad to see other people building project stuff.

I'm building from scratch, something very similar to this:

http://i1.ebayimg.com/03/i/03/e0/99/13_3.JPG

I have been buying parts off ebay for a year and a half now. Frontend off a 87 Warrior, Steering wheel off a FL350, transmission off a polaris scrambler. Bought a racing seat and 4pt harness, some bitchen 22" rear shocks all from www.desertkarts.com ... just bought an engine about a month ago, a 94' Polaris XCR 440 (xcr = race engine), bought some pipes and fuel pump 2 weeks ago.

Right now its complete from the rear rollbar forward. I held off on the rear half until I got the engine and transmission bought so I can lay it out correctly.

All I really got left to do is order some factory parts to build the rear half of the machine including the rear suspension. Going with a rear trailing arms setup. Maybe I'll dig it out and take some picts. I didnt know other people were really into this kind of stuff :)

Oh yea, still need to figure out what I'm going to do for gastank too.

One more thing, if I were rich and famous and could afford the $24,000 price tag, I'd just go get one of these BAAAAAADDDDD BOYS! http://www.drakart.com/

Lookin' good Sazxus...too bad engines don't stay that clean and shiny...:)

If I put that much work into something, I would probly start it once, drive it around the block just to make sure everything is working, then never drive it again just so it would stay clean and shiny..hehehe

Can't wait to see the finished product
