What gets me is I think I heard that for one of EQ2 and WoW they are being strict in banning people who sell stuff for real money. The logic they stated is that the terms of use specify that everything in the game remains their property and so cannot be sold. Now whilst I don't disagree with the banning, their logic is wrong - since we have title to the use of the in-game materials (or what are we paying for) selling stuff on ebay is not selling the item/character but it's use within the game...

eq2 gold is already on sale ... dont think they will stop the item sales either :/
I doubt sony has any intent in stopping it, it brings them money in members that will begin new toons and twink them out
