This dude though, he said that the velious reboot was the first expansion where the game moved into missions/quests progression and requiring groups for progression. This happened well before then with partisan and mercenary missions and the regular group mission at the end of the solo series. Hell you could go back as far as LDON to find almost required group missions to grind for gear, but more appropriately the missions for progression kind of started in Seeds of Destruction and then Underfoot started the partisan/merc cycle we have today, long before his velious reboot. I HATED Underfoot for this shift when it came out because you couldn't even access the zones without doing this required gating progression, and at the time I couldn't dedicate a lot of time or play at the same times as others, making it incredibly difficult to experience the expansion.

Maybe I'm just salty but dang, if you're going to blame an expansion for sucking, at least get your facts right or explain what you mean more clearly by required group progression.
