How do I do anything without boxing?
I have been playing EQ again now for around two month and I have got to a point where I can do nothing by myself unless it is ridiculously below my level. I am really stuck at this point and it is making it unfun to even log in on non raid times. Like whats the point when I am just going to stand in the guild lobby? Not trying to complain, just trying to get ideas. Fishlips suggested working on Hero AA's, tried and failed... I dont know what I am doing wrong and could use some guidance before I rage quit. Thanks in advance!
To do anything current solo takes a group of either real/boxed characters, or being extremely good with one of the pet classes.
You are not alone.
Reach out to others in guild, or general chat.
If no one is doing anything, then start doing something even if it is well below your level. For example starting in HoTT and working your way forward will give you a sense of what you as a zerker can do. You'll learn tricks and as you get to gradually work into harder content instead of hitting the CoV/ToV brick wall.
Or do what others have done and start boxing.
One of the reasons I started boxing a monk / shaman was so I could just start doing stuff with out waiting to form an entire group.

As we discussed, there is no reason why you could not do the Heroic AA's, especially in CoTF where they start, mobs are all light blue. In addition, as we discussed, Dragons of Norrath progression provides good increases to your toon. This stuff can all be done with LFG up. You have no idea how many light blue mobs I used to kill that con as "relatively weak". No, you will not go do stuff in the most current or even most current few expansions but there is plenty of things out there. Go back a few expansions, pop a merc, go to the entrance zone, find a mob, see what happens.
Alternatively, create a heroic toon on another free to play account and run it as a healer with you while you do that stuff. Then you can easily run 2 mercs and 2 toons and open even more to you.
