My New(ish) Baby!

Post by Faeodorus »

So this past summer I picked up a Subaru BRZ with Performance Package to get into track driving, and here she is:

I added a front strut tower brace:

With a brake cylinder brace:

A rear strut tower brace:

And some Sparco wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires:

Also running an oil cooler, steel braided brake lines, and some CSG track pads. Adding pedders front/rear sway bars soon.

I drove one of those for a few 100 miles when they first came out, was a pretty fun little car. We had a group of guys that would travel the twisty back country roads in texas in a caravan with our fun cars and trade. I had a 911 at the time, another guy had the BRZ, and another an M5. Was good times.

Thanks Lorai!

Yeah, this car is probably the most fun I've ever driven, and even more so now that I've added a few mods. When I first got it I thought I would use it on weekends and track days, but the truth is, unless I need AWD or know I am going to be stuck in stop and go, my "daily" rarely gets touched anymore.

Which 911 did you have? Those are incredibly fun too, but I only drove one briefly on the track at Pittsburgh.
