Assuming the parts are available I'm looking to build a new computer.
Goal is to build a machine that is capable of running 24 -30 eq clients at 15-20 fps under load for approximately $2500.
I do NOT plan to overclock. I will NOT use a water cooler

CPU : AMD 3950x
Cooler: Noctura D15
GPU: Nvidia 2070
MB: ( lots of options and opinions )
-- Would like 2x M.2 but 1x is not a show stopper
-- No need for WiFi or BT
-- Prefer MSI > ASUS > Gigabyte but willing to go with best bang
HD: Will go with a 1TB m.2
Stuff I haven't checked out. Ram clearance. CPU Cooler clearance.

For the ram you have picked out, I would spend $8 more and get some 3600mhz ram like these sticks. Even though the timing is a little looser, its the same response time since the ram speed is increased the same % as the timings. From what I can tell, Matisse cpus run best when the infinity fabric speed and ram speed are the same, and default infinity fabric speed is 1800mhz. Oh and these sticks should clear your cooler. Google tells me your cooler has 64mm of clearance and these sticks are 42mm tall.
Otherwise everything looks good. Probably not going to get a better motherboard for that price, and you dont really need 2x m.2 slots. Most people cant tell difference between sata and nvme when gaming (i know I can't).

This is one of the most unique builds I've seen:

At first I was skeptical but the more I look at it the more interesting it gets.
