I may have a brand new DEATH METAL bass!

I have been looking for this silly little thing that isn't made anymore for months, and I found a craigslist ad. I am hoping it's all legit. Wish me luck! I am waiting to hear back, and way too excited. So far I think I must have read 20 websites about how to avoid scams. At this point, the person selling the bass is probably worried more about me now. Told me that they were gonna call yesterday, but no such luck!

Best advice I can give as a frequent craigslist buyer/seller is to arrange to meet at a neutral location. Like a gas station or other public area. Have them bring the item and you bring your cash. If they don't want to meet then its most likely a scam.

Thanks for the advice. The girl is in Montreal, and hasn't contacted since I asked her to invoice me through paypal. I think I scared her off.

From my research in over the last two months, pretty sure I am not going to find one but it was worth trying.

If I did meet someone, I'd take my husband and probably make it a bank or something with a lot of security cameras about.
