a spray can and a lighter make a nice effect, as does a soldering torch for a nice blue flame. We made some good ones on a railroad track. Also a flash to highlight stuff like under the car comes in handy. Can also freeze things/people midair. I do like the sparkler effect though, very sweet,

I keep studying these pics trying to figure it out. It looks to me like someone is welding and you are likely getting burned standing there

Amazing effects. Definitely a conversation piece.
