Make it all at least twelve feet deep that one needs high skills to swim in.

Make people show ID, like Chuck E Cheese's, to get into any area with shallow water, and post stationary, roaming and undercover security throughout the park. Have kids at age 13 and grandma isn't there? you are SoL.

Check people's stuff as they come in, (no glass - bottles, crack pipes' etc.) but allow them to bring stuff.

or just forget all the dumb fancy lazy river, stupid slides stuff, and make it a normal public pool, allow picnics, make it huge. Have a little security and good lifeguards. The best pool I have ever been to did have yhe smaller type slides, and a big cement island in the deep end, and had very STEEP HILLS in the grass around the pool. If anyone was drunk or high there was NO WAY they were navigating the beach area to get to the water in the first place. It also gave the world a bird's eye view of the water. No getting away with taking a dump or the people on the hill would run down and punch your lights out. No need for security, cheap entry price, lots of space, bring your own food.

Oh, and COLD water.. I mean crazy cold. It would be perfect.

Another nice pool near me is also HUGE, but it uses spring water from a fountain in the ground in the center. There is plenty of room for children and adults to be peaceful in it cause of it's size. No one is going near that water to make trouble, just to swim. It's way too cold haha.

Again, lots of families, and sometimes, these folks will self-police pretty well on their own. There is a bar, and with most bars, comes huge bouncers. Now bouncers won't normally get involved with family violence, cause they fight to the death, but for your normal crack-head drunk, they will.

Some families I know won't go to a pool with a bar, cause they dont' want their kids to see stuff. In these times, however, they still could see worse if teenagers are acting like they are in that post. Why not have a bouncer and serve it responsibly instead?
