Is a good deal. The 4850 is kind of old though, but would still play EQ just fine.

I just told you it was a good deal. RAM is fine, cpu is fine, personally i'd want to have an SSD for awesomeness, but that's not friendly to budgets, and I'd want a newer video card, which if you played anything other than EQ, I would be worried about having.

You could probably build a better machine for a tiny bit more money, like $700, but if you're not adept at such things, grab it, and perhaps in a year or so replace the video card and call it a day.

So what you are saying Alsmack is that I should not buy that and instead buy this.

If I bought the 2nd one would I still need to upgrade the video card in a year or would I be good?

The goal is that I have a good to great machine. The only newer game I play is starcraft 2.

Starcraft 2 is actually fairly intensive. That machine above is fine, the video card is just old. You could play SC2 on it as well, just not at max uber high graphics settings.
