Power supply question

Post by Ubdaien »

Does this:
http://www.compusa.com/applications/sea ... etailspecs

Look like it will adequately supply this:
http://www3.pny.com/GTS-250-1024MB-PCIe-P2793C398.aspx

Looks ok to me... just getting a 2nd opinion.

http://www.directron.com/ultlsp550.html?gsear=1 is what I use and I love it. I'd recommend it.

450W seems a little low. Especially for an SLI since it is intended to be paired with another SLI card. Personally I have an 850W in mine and I use the GTX 260.

I wonder if they thought of that when they were handing these out at fanfaire.

I'm just looking at box requirements ATM.

I get done putting everything I got in. Works great. I go put the driver Cd in and the cd drive starts making a lot of noise... i'm like "Oh shit what did I mess up?" I take out the Cd and find it looks like it got hit with a rock.... big huge crack I didn't see..

So anyway....It works!
