Ok i know this sounds a little gross, but, the correct way to sex birds without dna test is to put your pinky in their anus. If you can feel only one bone its a boy, two its a girl. family owns a feed store and the worker there has to check and see all the time to sex birds and thats what he told me..yuck...goodluck lol

Have you seen a parrot's beak embedded in your hand or face? I don't think I will be making my parrot into Kermit anytime soon. I know the pain of having my ass kicked by a parrot, and she didn't even mean to do it at the time, just got excited cause she said, "whoopie!" very well for the first time. At least I know the one I have now is a boy. haha

The bigger ones can bite a broomstick in half in under 5 seconds. I like to think about that when I watch this cute video.
