So I go to this hispanic grocery store for the first time just to look around.
It's called Marianas. Looks tiny as hell when I first go in because the isles are around the corner of the entrance..
I go further in to find that they have a restaurant and a tortilleria inside. OMG! Fresh chips! I look around the Menu for a bit to find super nachos, they are 4.99. Got mine with steak. So the dude goes over to the tortilleria to get the chips and comes back... the to go box already looks full of just chips when he comes back, i'm like "Oh damn".
Takes him a few minutes to construct this masterpiece but daaaaaaamn...he comes back and it's so piled high he cant close the box.
Does this look like it's worth the money to you? It was pretty damn good.. I couldnt finish it....
Super Nachos?

Melt? Why? Spicy? Massive? I'm curious now.Taunto wrote:I'd post pictures of the Mexican food I eat but your eyeballs would probably melt in their sockets. I spent 4 years in Mexico growing up and now live in a town that's like half hispanic immigrants. It tastes just like home. Even better I can get pupusas and other Salvadoran food, too.
Because it's just so amazingly good. Real Mexican food is incredibly simple. Some of it is really time-intensive, but it's 90% made with the simplest ingredients prepared in just the right way. Good tacos al pastor is just marinated meat, grilled on soft warm corn tortillas with onions, cilantro and green sauce, but it will own your face until you've engorged yourself on like 8 of them. Which is ok, because they only cost a dollar each.Ubdaien wrote:Melt? Why? Spicy? Massive?
