server down ???????

just tried logging in and it won't let me says something about no connection

I'm getting the same message. They have this message up on EQplayers:

Session Maintenance and SOE Services Maintenance – Tuesday, February 17th
2/13/2009

Beginning at 4:00 AM PST on Tuesday, February 17th, all log-in servers will be undergoing maintenance. During this maintenance you will be unable to log-in to all games and account management tools, and you will be disconnected from the server if you are already logged in. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 30 minutes.

Also on Tuesday, February 17th, from 6:00-8:00 AM PST, SOE Account and Commerce flow, the Station Store, will be unavailable due to maintenance. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 2 hours.

This maintenance will prevent log-ins, but players who are in-game should stay in game until they zone or otherwise make a request from the session system.

This might also cause some forum accounts to temporarily lose permissions, due to the inability to verify account status while the maintenance is taking place. This is only temporary and normal permissions will return automatically once the maintenance is complete.

We apologize for these interruptions and will resume all affected services as soon as the maintenance is completed.

Which leads me to believe they fucked something up with the whole process and the login servers are down right now.

I thought no one would put two and two together. In fact, while I'm pulling I'm always making EEEERerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and VROOOoooooooom sounds. Race fans, start your engines .
