So are you a cat person or a deer person? =P
One of my client's friends have this wild deer that just follows them right in to their house. It's amusing, but it's also kind of sad. They are nice enough to help it back outside and feed it and keep a little warm spot in their back yard for it, but at the same token being near people is what gets a lot of wildlife killed. The desensitization is kind of sad, in that regard.

Animal person in general, but I like kitties.

I grew up in Utah where the deer are hunted and VERY wild. Getting withing 300 yards of one doesn't last long.
I now live in the hills of California and have 5-10 deer hanging around withing 30-50 feet of my house every few days. Sometimes the fawns squeeze through the fence posts and eat my landscaping. We also have a huge flock (40-50) of wild turkeys that are even worse. They love dig up my ground-cover and make a big mess. It's really strange how tame these wild animals are in this protected environment.
