help??? Please

Hi guys, im back, well almost.

I need some help and i think noircongi might be able to help me. I reinstalled my everquest and got the new expansions but when i try and log on it says i need to install the 8185 nvidia video driver but the only one i found is for a 64bit. When i called support they wanted me to down load the most updated one for my video card (7950 GX2) which is 163.75 but Everquest still wants me to use the 8185 driver..

Ignore the warning and see if you can log in. Works fine with newer drivers.

i tried to ignore it but it boots me out of the login.

Can get basically every old driver at guru3d:

I use older 94.xx drivers they run fine for me and I hate the new NV control panel. If you're running on XP try some of the older drivers. If you're running Vista your options are much more limited. God knows it probably would take Noircogi's help to get EQ running right on Vista /rude microsoft

If you're reinstalling drives its good to use something like Driver Sweeper after you run the uninstaller to make sure you don't have any conflicting file versions left on your system. Be sure to follow the instructions.

Use the new driver from nvidia.com. That 81.85 message should have been removed by Sony long ago. They even recommend it for boards it doesn't support.

Make sure you have the current directX from www.microsoft.com/directx

thanks guys i reinstalled my directx and then loaded the newest driver from nvida and then bypassed the message asking me to download the 81.85 driver and it let me in.
