connection issues

here is the skinny
i run cable internet through a motorola surfboard modem
windows vista
2gigram
2.8 duel core procesor
also no firewall running

the problem : when running 2 instances of eq my modem dies after about ten minutes of having both toons in game, every time.

would appreciate any help i could get , thanks

You sure it's the modem?

that kind of thing happened to me and that was because my computer wasn't able to handle the load.

update

did some searching around and found a post that said to copy all my eq files to another location and run 1 instance of eq from each copy of eq, tryed it and seems to be working

oh yah. that is because the application is trying to access the files twice, it will crash your instance

glad to hear it's working.
