So my new laptop runs well minus the internal wireless internet card which doesnt seem to like my router...I'll probably end up getting another card that will hopefully work for when I'm at home and just use a cord when I'm not.
But when it does let me get onto EQ I get the speed bug where everything moves super fast but then you get rolled back every few seconds when the server notices you're a mile ahead of where you should be. I know this is because the computer's clock is out of synch with the server or something like that, but does anyone know how to fix it?

Yeah, its an intel centrino duo. Where i try to set the affinity on eqgame.exe it comes up with an error saying unable to access or set process affinity. The operation could not be completed. Access is denied.
Edit: looks like I have to open up the patcher and do it there...at least it works now and the loadtime is still fast enough that the patcher isnta big deal.

Hey if you using AMD stuff use the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer on this link fixed my issuew wher I didnt see anyone attacking and instead of feet moving you just hovered as you ran. Was funny to watch but a pain to keep track of mobs..
