Is there a way I can play sound files of NPC's without engaging them? I know I can hear zone music, but I have the urge to hear Aten Ha RA but not the urge to clear Vex Thal.

Is there a way to hear NPC voices without fighting them?

Once you find the sound files, you can copy them to your audio triggers, "My time has come" might be a good DT alert.

I believe only the newer expansions are in the (EQ)/sounds folder. I'm not sure when they switched but it was after LoY at least. I think the older sounds are in (EQ)/snd1.pfs ... (EQ)/snd17.pfs . I don't know how to get to them; it seems like an obscure and/or proprietary format, and I don't know of any tools that can read them. But they might exist.

Yeah its in the /sounds folder. Pretty sure the Mayong ones are myg_*.wav
myg_dth.wav is the one where he says "my age begins"
