How to tell if you are old
lol I found this in my teacher's union magazine
This ringtone is the hottest thing to hit the streets this summer! It was first introduced as a way to get rid of teenagers by making a loud sound that only kids and teenagers would hear. It was supposed to keep the teens off properties by blasting this high frequency sound in parking lots. Now the teens are getting their revenge by downloading it as a ringtone and playing it when they shouldn't be - and adults can't hear it!!! It's been showing up in classrooms all over the world. Check it out - the story just broke in the New York Times and on Digg - even Headline News was talking about the ring tone.
I can hear it faintly if it's turned all the way up, but Ant can still hear it. He wanted to kill me lol.
Can you hear it?

edit: I think we go deaf from things like, "Mommy, Mommy, Mom, Mommy, Mommy, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom"

OMG!
I thought this was one of those "turn this up real loud" things that is quiet til the end then you hear some really loud scream or something........... but it's real. My kids can hear it but I can't. I wonder where the cut off mark for "old" is.
Edit: I put it waaaaay up and put my ear directly on the speaker, I can hear it only with my right ear and ouch.. I don't suggest you try that.

I don't get it, so you can annoy the class and give them a headache, without the teacher being affected, yeah that's really showing them...
Heard it just fine btw

There's a subtler way that won't even alert other kids... it's called vibrate

Get a better phone and put it on a lower setting
