I've tried setting each instance of EQ to its own core (both threads on a cpu with SMT/HT), and I've tried setting each instance of EQ to all cores. Timing out while logging in?

something like an msi gx63vr is close to your budget and will be able to run 2 extra 1080p monitors in addition to its own. You will need to turn the settings down for gaming on 3 monitors but gaming on 1 1080p monitor should be completely unconstrained. 1070 is still a very powerful gpu.

I have a 2015msi gaming laptop which can connect to multiple displays. 1 hdmi port + 2 display port minis. I just bought display port mini to hdmi cables to use it with 2+ hdmi monitors. I would check on newegg. I would imagine a gtx 1080 is probably what you want if youre going to run 3x 1080p disp...

Personally I would go with this ram , I know it's a little more but it's a lot (~18% if my math is correct?) faster due to the lower latency. Also a gtx 1060 would be something to consider for the additional power gaming. You could even drop down to a 4-core ryzen since most games are not yet optimi...
