That sort of artifact most often happens if your GPU is overheating.

The 680 is a fill-rate monster. I went from a 1920x1200 monitor to 2560x1440 and haven't noticed any slow-down at all. You can run 3 19x12 just fine.

Clean install (with reformat) then load Microsoft security essentials and you'll be golden. System restore is the very best way to remove most virii/trojans but it's better to not get one in the first place by making sure you have user access control enabled. I know you don't like that answer but yo...

Total fake!

Also, so bright. How do you get so much light in the sky?
Just another average day in the SF bay area. :)

All of that green grass turns "gold" from May through October or so though.

Just a note that in my opinioin, the mechanical design on the newest Asus laptops is really top-tier. Up there with Apple if you haven't looked at them recently.

Personally, I never game on a laptop, but I know Nizzi has to travel a lot so that's probably a resonable choice.

Tegra 4 is a great product and shield is a very nice combination of our technologies. The best "promise" of it is that we plan to release an update every year with exponential performance improvements. Next year's chip is an even bigger jump in relative performance and efficiency. Since it...

I even tried it from Firefox under Linux. Every time I try to register it tells me there's a problem and I need to enable cookies. If you ...

Don't buy an AMD GPU. The Kepler series (GTX-6XX) crushes them in every category at a given price point.

You're spending too much on the CPU and not enough on the GPU.
Get a GTX-670. Kepler GPUs are by far the best architecture in the history of the world and huge jump from the 5XX series.

System restore is your friend. Roll your system back to a time when you know it was clean and then re-patch.

I use MS security essentials for basic protection. It's very fast, lightweight and free.
