Got satellite interest atm, and locked into 2 years boo~ If more money comes our way we are actually able to get cable internet. It's ready to go! Chomping chomping at the bit.

I am off work this weekend, which surprised me. I can't wait to get back.

Solved! I am posting just for other who may have this problem. It was my UAC. In the search part of the windows button I typed in UAC. That pesky thing that pops up and asks me if I want to make changes to things was preventing Everquest from saving the files. I had to drop the bar on it to stop ale...

Thanks. It's working now. My only new problem is that my hotkeys, spell sets and bazaar info isn't saving.

so I can't save hotkeys, bazaar info or new spell info I click on the everquest folder, it says files are read only. I uncheck, it says you have to have administrator access to do it, click continue. I am hitting a button that has the brown and yellow everquest icon on it. I found it in that directory, and made a shortcut for my desktop.


I do have files that say "Sony station Launcher," but they never work. I never play anything else anyway.

EQ isn't missing a file. You need to reinstall the old Microsoft Direct X stuff so you have DX9 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 Try that. And you should be able to put your EverQuest directory wherever you want, then run Launchpad.exe from inside of it to patch it up and ...
